Abdessamad Derraz bb19a6d5cf feat: profile what RetroBat and RetroPie run
100 emulator names the two platforms run had no profile, so their packs carried nothing for them. Each was read from the platform's own launcher or scriptmodule: the same program as an existing profile takes the name in cores:, a different build gets its own profile read from that version, a launcher or self-contained game goes to remove_cores, and the rest are new profiles written from their source or shipped binary. The files they need that the collection lacked are collected from the upstream distributions. Bungie and splitwolf trees are read by path and stay out of dedup.

PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess built on the zeldaret/tp
decompilation, on the Aurora runtime. The game reads its data straight from
the user's disc image at run time, there is no extraction step.
RetroBat installs v2.0.3: dusklight.exe in its dusklight.7z carries
"Revision: 40457c6adb381928e4b5fef6ed459ed291edd5e2" and the version
string v2.0.3, the commit the v2.0.3 tag points to. The launcher passes the
image (or the first line of an .m3u) as the positional argument, writes it
to backend.isoPath in data/config.json and forces portable mode through
data_location.json.
ref: emulatorLauncher Generators/PortsLauncher.Configuration.cs:580-640
Disc check. The positional argument is the dvd option. Its header is
inspected (platform magic, game ID, disc number, revision) against the
accepted catalog. A match opens the image and starts the game, anything
else falls back to the prelaunch screen, where the user can pick another
image. Booting without an image that passes the check is fatal.
ref: src/m_Do/m_Do_main.cpp:561-571, 792-817, 885-899,
src/dusk/iso_validate.cpp:30-63, 126-131
The full check is optional and runs from the prelaunch screen: an XXH3-128
over the reconstructed logical image, whatever the container format, must
equal the catalog value. A mismatch is reported, not fatal. Accepted
values: GZ2E01 14e886f08e548a000afde98a3195e788, GZ2J01

and refused as an unsupported version. Revision is 0 unless stated.

The res/ tree (fonts and RmlUi documents), the SDL3, Dawn and nod
libraries and initial_pipeline_cache.db are program components of the
release. Borealis is a submodule pinned at v2.0.3 to

revision.
