Abdessamad Derraz bb19a6d5cf feat: profile what RetroBat and RetroPie run
100 emulator names the two platforms run had no profile, so their packs carried nothing for them. Each was read from the platform's own launcher or scriptmodule: the same program as an existing profile takes the name in cores:, a different build gets its own profile read from that version, a launcher or self-contained game goes to remove_cores, and the rest are new profiles written from their source or shipped binary. The files they need that the collection lacked are collected from the upstream distributions. Bungie and splitwolf trees are read by path and stay out of dedup.

Xenia Canary is an experimental open-source Xbox 360 emulator (BSD license)
originally by Ben Vanik, now maintained by the xenia-canary community. Pure
HLE: the Xbox 360 kernel (xboxkrnl), XAM, and XBDM modules are fully
reimplemented in C++. XConfig system settings are hardcoded with user-
configurable overrides (language, region, audio, video). No BIOS, firmware,
NAND dump, flash dump, or keyvault file is loaded at any point.
EmuDeck installs xenia_canary.exe into the xbox360 ROMs folder. Config via
xenia-canary.config.toml. Game patches downloaded separately into patches/.
RetroBat's xenia-manager emulator does not start Xenia Manager itself. Its
generator runs xenia_canary.exe from the Emulators/Xenia Canary folder that
Xenia Manager installs, or the Mousehook and Netplay Canary builds from their
own folders (emulatorlauncher Xenia.Generator.cs:48-73).

exclusion_note: >
Xenia is a pure high-level emulation (HLE) Xbox 360 emulator. The entire
Xbox 360 operating system (kernel, XAM dashboard services, XBDM debug
manager) is reimplemented in C++ as HLE modules loaded at startup
(src/xenia/emulator.cc:317-322). System configuration (XConfig) returns hardcoded
values from xboxkrnl_xconfig.cc. Memory, CPU (JIT), GPU, APU, and HID
subsystems are all software-emulated. No external BIOS, firmware, NAND
flash dump, or system files are loaded from disk. The wiki confirms:
"Xenia doesn't require any Xbox 360 system files."
