Profile the rommgr.cpp table at 376b22c: 208 entries for CPU boards,
freezer cartridges, SCSI and IDE controllers, Picasso IV, x86
bridgeboards, CD32 FMV and the CD32/CDTV images the scan identifies
by SHA-1. A CPU board without its ROM does not start, so the A1200
and A4000 accelerator quickstarts need these files.
EmuELEC, AmberELEC and KNULLI launch standalone emulators by the name
their launch code dispatches on (HATARISA, PPSSPPSDL, FBNEOSA) and ship
32-bit or patched builds of libretro cores under their own .so names
(flycast_32b, mupen64plus_next_alt, genesis_plus_gx_cart_special,
mame0139, flycast-xtreme). Each name joins the profile of the project
its package builds. fceumm_mod reads gg.rom, not gamegenie.nes, and
never opens it, so it gets its own profile.
Aliases equal to a name a platform launcher chooses were read in each emulator's code at its pin. Removed where the code opens no such name: xemu Complex_4627v1.03.bin (the core offers Complex_4627_v1.03.bin), mednafen gecard.pce, dosbox bios.rom, raze Roland_SC-55.sf2, nine DraStic names, and clk's upper-case MSX names, whose paths now read msx.rom, msx2.rom and msx2ext.rom as ROMCatalogue.cpp:777-841 names them. Kept aliases now name the code list they come from in the entry note.
Pin moves to 2de3bf8 (v8.4.2). roms/aros-ext.bin, roms/aros-rom.bin and whdboot/game-data/whdload_db.json changed upstream and are collected at that revision. The WHDLoad database is matched on the archive SHA1 first and refreshed from the bundled copy when newer. kick02019.AROS and its .ext are names the Recalbox launcher writes, so the profile now documents the kickstart_rom_file settings instead.
kick02019.AROS and its .ext were Recalbox configgen names, shipped at
the BIOS root of four packs whose code never opens them. Recalbox
keeps them through its own amiga/bios declarations. amiga-os-310.rom
is a ROM scan label, now found_by content.
amiga-os-310.rom and Recalbox's kick02019.AROS pair are opened by amiberry's ROM scan (amiberry_gui.cpp, rommgr.cpp at the pin). MinivMacBootv2.dsk is opened by minivmac.
The libretro core copies whdboot from the system directory and uses a candidate only when WHDLoad, JST, AmiQuit, boot-data, the game database and the five RTB files are all there (amiberry.cpp:11510-11584). The core zip has none of them, so they are collected.
Profiles that read two repositories, a libretro port and its upstream,
now prefix each citation with source or upstream, decided by which tree
carries the cited value at its pin. The emulator pages use the word to
tell libretro glue, emulator code as the port carries it, and the
upstream emulator apart.
Each platform's own packages were read at the revision our data pins, for every emulator and core it ships: Batocera, Recalbox, RetroPie, ROCKNIX, Lakka, RetroDECK, RetroBat and EmuDeck. Files a package installs where the emulator reads them are recorded with installed_on, and files a release bundles but a package leaves out with not_bundled_on, so each platform's pack brings what its users lack and nothing they already have. The standalone profiles never checked before were held against their releases the same way. Batocera's imame4all is the mame2000 core. The primary neogeo.zip was a 7.7 KB placeholder no platform pins and no pack served: removed, the real dumps stay in .variants.
boytacean cited a line a hundred past the CGB boot selection and cap32 a
blank one after the bios directory is built. b2 carried the owner and
repository in front of its path, which matched two roms.cpp. crocods,
armsx2 and amiberry only needed their pin to catch up.
