The check each core runs on every listed file is cited in the profile notes instead of on each entry: the per-entry citations pushed the RomM platform pages past their byte budget (573900 against 572487).
Lunar - Silver Star Story Complete (Japan) needs the MPEG card and stops Yabause after its logos. Lunar - Silver Star Story (Japan) reaches its title on Beetle Saturn and Yabause with the RetroArch pack's BIOS (records 2026-10-28-6b5b55d3480f, 2026-10-28-9270d1928be7), judged against the reference frames added to the oracle.
Runs passed LD_PRELOAD=libfaketime.so.1 by bare name on a host without libfaketime. The loader skipped it silently, so those runs recorded a fixed clock they never had. A preload must now be an absolute path to a file, which is bound into the sandbox and recorded by sha256.
Reruns on the upstream merge add commits under the same subjects. The claim needs the base and the patched build present, and one video and audio pair per disc.
Lunar - Silver Star Story Complete (Japan) stops after its logos with the pack's v1.00 Japan image and with v1.01 alike (record 2026-10-28-32cdefcdb231). The CD block passes the MPEG card check (cs2.c:3172-3212) and decodes nothing (2870-2884). The pack's saturn_bios.bin is not the cause.
try_use_bios skips a listed file that is not 512 KB (frontend/libretro.c:3632) and one without the kernel's first instruction or "PS compatible" at 0x12c (3646-3651). validation: [size, signature] on the seven listed names. Closes the four open pcsx_rearmed findings.
The region BIOS option names scph5500/5501/5502.bin by default and LoadImageFromFile checks only the size (host_interface.cpp:124-133, bios.cpp:82-105). The md5 table serves the directory scan and the Fast Boot patch. validation: [size], found_by: name. Closes the open swanstation finding.
firmware_is_present logs a SHA1 that differs and returns true (libretro.c:853-860), the override path does the same (744-756). on_mismatch: warn on every hashed entry. Closes the two open beetle_psx findings.
campaign.py review applies or rejects an open finding with the reason read in the code. Applied fields go through the profile editor with the finding's records as evidence. The rule table reads on_mismatch: warn and counts a signature as a content check.
Records that back the same field or issue claim share one line. Each
line says what the runs showed: the BIOS the core ran, the file strace
saw opened, or what a maintainer watched in an issue's run
(tests/campaign/observations.yml). A run with nothing to state stays
off the page.
Emulator pages show a run only when a profile's evidence names it or it
answers an issue, as one line naming the BIOS the core ran. The Tested
blocks, region outcomes, coverage, campaign and pack tables and the
benchmark figures are gone from the site; the records stay.
Answers code_audit_20 and tui_audit_13. A tap acts on the frame it was
made on, bar entries that install, quit or open Confirm take two taps,
and Preferred regions keep their rows while open. Every check of a list
keeps the systems ticked, the plan's counts read the list the check
read, line mode leaves game data out of the choice alone, Confirm counts
copies, a pack's missing files are said before a size, and paths break
after a separator only.
The region outcome per core and per game says the BIOS each boot ran in fewer words, so the PlayStation system page stays under its visible word ceiling.
The site serves install.sh at /retrobios/i and install.ps1 at
/retrobios/i.ps1. generate_site.py writes both copies with the
installer address set to install.py at the commit the site is built
from (GITHUB_SHA in CI, HEAD locally), so the pinned SHA-256 and the
downloaded installer always come from one commit, including while a
deploy is still running.
Every command a user copies names the short address. The raw form
stays on the installer page as the fallback. Deploy Site now runs on
changes to install.sh and install.ps1. The install box weight keeps
the address length its ratio was fitted on, so no console page moves.
The required: false evidence of scph5500, scph5501 and scph5502 cites the records judged again, whose log says Firmware is missing, and the notes say the boot ran the built-in OpenBIOS with the other regions' files refused.
core_probe rejudge, offline: 273 live core_probe records judged against the current oracle, each superseding its earlier line. Every repetition now names the BIOS it ran. The Beetle PSX region runs with only the other regions' files booted on OpenBIOS (Firmware is missing), PCSX-ReARMed's loaded the other region's file.
The tools page lists the load and fallback lines each core's BIOS is read from, and core_probe rejudge. The method page says a game can work on the emulator's own BIOS.
region_check and the site name a boot on the core's built-in BIOS as such: the other regions' files were refused. A boot is called another region's BIOS only when the core's log names that file, and a boot whose log names no BIOS says so.
core_probe rejudge appends, for each live record the oracle now judges otherwise, a record with the same runs judged again: verdicts, bios_used and inputs.oracle recomputed, supersedes the earlier one, judged_at and judged_by beside recorded_at. Records of another probe are left to it. The campaign reads a superseded record as its successor, and a file the log shows refused or loaded settles validation with no BIOS screen.
fallback_patterns and load_patterns for Beetle PSX and HW, SwanStation, PCSX-ReARMed and Flycast, each read from the core's source at its pin. Beetle maps OpenBIOS when its firmware is missing and loads a file of another sha1 all the same. SwanStation names the image it uses or falls back to, and its OpenBIOS. PCSX-ReARMed loads another region's file before its HLE BIOS.
Record version 5: every repetition and variant carries bios_used, staged:<dest> when a load line of the core names the file, builtin when a fallback line says it ran its own BIOS, unknown otherwise. An opened file is no proof. The oracle gains fallback_patterns and load_patterns per core, and a record judged again carries judged_at and judged_by.
code_audit_19 and tui_audit_12. A tap ticks a box and opens a choice on a
second tap of the row the screen saw tapped. One list drives the plan's game
data row, save line and data files. The version note, --offline in shown
commands, exit 2 for a chosen quit, legacy mouse reports read from bytes,
colour roles that read their words, the setup list's device column, the
copy browser, a drive two systems fit, WSL's Windows folder, and line mode
wording.
