mgba and vitaquake2 carried refs written against a newer tree than their
source_commit named, which the diagnostic reports rather than leaving as
a plain miss. vba_next is the other shape: CPUInit sits at gba.cpp:5137
in upstream VBA-M and always has, but the profile declared no
upstream_commit, so the upstream was pinned by profiled_date to a
revision where that file was shorter.
aps3e was left alone: its pin is behind for two refs and HEAD has moved
far enough that advancing costs seven more.
Upstream moved under 145 profiles: 679 refs shifted and 452 followed a
renamed file, against 6,483 that still anchor where they were written.
The recale rewrites the located ranges only, keeping the annotations and
the sentences that carry them, and 106 pins advance in the same commit
because refs and source_commit name one revision or the profile
describes two at once.
Nothing here was guessed. The 183 refs that are CHANGED, GONE or
AMBIGUOUS are untouched, and the 57 profiles holding them keep their old
pin until someone reads the diff: profile_sync refuses to recale a
profile while any of its refs needs a re-read. trident kept its pin too,
its annotated ref being one the writer will not rewrite.
Every profile now has:
- profiled_date: date of source code analysis
- core_version: version from libretro-core-info .info files
- display_name: human-readable name from .info files
260/260 profiles complete. 294/294 libretro cores covered.
Standalone emulators (cemu, rpcs3, xemu, vita3k) versioned manually.
- Added profiled_date field to all 204 existing profiles for update tracking
- Created 56 alias profiles for cores that share BIOS with a parent
(e.g., mednafen_psx -> beetle_psx, fbalpha2012 -> fbneo)
260 total profiles covering all 294 libretro cores (204 unique + 56 alias).
